VitalityPlan 2018: The Alternative to Expensive Dental Insurance

We are pleased to offer our bespoke practice membership scheme to help us protect the health of your teeth and gums even better than before. It is our way of ensuring that we care for you to the best of our ability and allows you to pay for regular dental care the easy way. The regular care you receive as a VitalityPlanpatient helps ensure that your treatment needs are identified in a timely manner and that treatment is as successful as we can make it. It remains the case that our members attend more regularly have fewer dental health problems and spend less money on their dental care.

VitalityPlan Adults from £14 per month

Adults 18 years of age and over (21 and over if in full time education)

  • One comprehensive 14 point dental health review per year including a clinical examination, gum health check, oral cancer check and x-rays (£94 if purchased separately)
  • A personalised assessment of your dental health needs will be carried out to establish the frequency of hygiene visits that you would benefit from and this is included in your direct debit (£88 per half hour if purchased separately)
  • 15% discount on all treatment fees (excluding sedation and implant-related services)
  • Free email newsletter with information, tips and exclusive offers for VitalityPlan members
  • Worldwide dental insurance to cover accidental damage and emergency treatment

VitalityPlan Teens £13.50 per month or VitalityPlan Kids £7 per month

Children from 13 to 17 years of age (and young adults up to 20 in full time education) and children from 5 to 12 years of age

  • One routine dental health review per year including x-rays (£80 if purchased separately)
  • Teens: two 20 minute hygiene visits per year (£118 if purchased separately)
  • Kids: one oral health education session with our dental hygienist/ therapist per year (£44 if purchased separately)
  • 15% discount on all treatment fees (excluding sedation and implant related services
  • Worldwide dental insurance to cover accidental damage and emergency treatment

Worldwide Dental Emergency Scheme

Emergency callout – cover can be provided by any dentist worldwide who agrees to treat you. You simply pay their charge and collect a receipted invoice. This will then be processed through the practice for reimbursement through the scheme and you will be refunded the callout fee, minus the excess, up to policy limits.  This cover is to provide immediate pain relief only ; no additional or restorative treatment fees can be claimed. You should return to the practice during normal hours for any further treatment required.

Dental trauma – cover is provided should you be unfortunate enough to suffer a dental trauma, for example, as a result of a road traffic accident or an accident at home or at work. The scheme will reimburse you up to the published limits.

Hospitalisation – benefit is provided should you have to stay in hospital as a result of the accident.

Oral cancer – a payment will be made upon diagnosis of oral cancer.

Redundancy protection – plan premiums paid for up to one year.

A leaflet giving details of the scheme, limits, and exclusions is available at the practice. Practice staff are permitted to provide you with
information about the cover that is included in your plan on behalf of Practice Plan Limited, the plan administrator. However, practice staff are not able to give advice

We will complete an agreement with you to start your membership. This will require your signature and bank account details for the direct debit mandate. Direct debits are collected from your account on the 8th of every month. Benefits will commence from the 1st of the month (effective month on the dentist/patient agreement). Please note that VitalityPlan membership is not a contract and there is no minimum term or tie-in period.
