VitalityPlan 2025: The Alternative to Expensive Dental Insurance
We are pleased to offer our bespoke practice membership scheme to help us protect the health of your teeth and gums even better than before. It is our way of ensuring that we care for you to the best of our ability and allows you to pay for regular dental care the easy way. The regular care you receive as a VitalityPlan patient helps ensure that your treatment needs are identified in a timely manner and that treatment is as successful as we can make it. It remains the case that our members attend more regularly have fewer dental health problems and spend less money on their dental care. Better oral health is now known to reduce the risk of diabetes and heart disease.
VitalityPlan Adults from £20.50 per month
Adults 18 years of age and over (21 and over if in full time education)
- One comprehensive dental health review per year including a clinical examination, gum health check, oral cancer check and x-rays (£132 if purchased separately)
- A personalised assessment of your dental health needs will be carried out to establish the frequency of hygiene visits that you would benefit from and this is included in your direct debit (£120 per half hour if purchased separately)
- 15% discount on all treatment fees*

VitalityPlan Teens £19.00 per month or VitalityPlan Kids £11.00 per month
Children from 13 to 17 years of age (and young adults up to 20 in full-time education) and children from 5 to 12 years of age
- One routine dental health review per year including x-rays (£112 if purchased separately)
- Teens: two 20 minute hygiene visits per year (£160 if purchased separately)
- Kids: one twenty minute hygiene visit per year (£80 if purchased separately)

* 7.5% discount on implant-related services and Invisalign; no discount on sedation
Worldwide Dental Emergency Scheme
Emergency callout – we may pay benefits for emergency callout and emergency temporary treatment when you are away from home and/or otherwise more than 15 miles from your dental practice and you could not reasonably access your dentist’s own emergency arrangements. Individual benefit limits and overall limit applies per incident and per calendar year. If you are outside the UK and you suffer a dental emergency you may visit any available dentist for emergency temporary treatment and then request assistance from us to pay for that treatment, up to a limit of £475 per incident.
Dental trauma – you may be eligible to make a request for assistance in the unfortunate event you suffer a dental trauma, for example if you suffer a sudden identifiable external blow to the mouth. The scheme may reimburse you up to the individual benefit limits.
Hospitalisation – if you are admitted to hospital for treatment as an inpatient either wholly or partly under the care of a consultant who specialises in dental or maxillofacial surgery, we may pay benefit of up to £68 for each overnight stay in hospital (up to a maximum of 365 nights) while your hospitalisation period continues.
Oral cancer – if you are diagnosed by a specialist as suffering from oral cancer, we may pay you a fixed benefit of £2,500.
Redundancy protection – if you are made redundant whilst a member of a dental plan for a continuous period of more than 30 days, we may pay the monthly fee(s) payable for both your own and your dependents dental plan. We may pay up to £15 per member per month or a maximum of £60 per month for multiple dental plans for a maximum of 12 months, subject to scheme rules.
The scheme is a wholly discretionary scheme, not an insurance scheme. It has been established to offer support and assistance to dental plan patients who request treatment as a result of a dental trauma and/or dental emergency or have been diagnosed with oral cancer subject to scheme rules and individual benefit limits. It is funded by your dental plan administrator to consider benefits at the sole and absolute discretion of the Scheme Manager. We will complete an agreement with you to start your membership. This will require your signature and bank account details for the direct debit mandate. Direct debits are collected from your account on the 8th of every month. Benefits will commence from the date you sign your dental plan agreement; you do not need to wait for the first payment to be collected.
Please note that VitalityPlan membership is not a contract and there is no minimum term or tie-in period.
